How To Measure
measure in cm’s
Bust
Measure horizontally straight around bust at widest point.
Under Bust
Measure horizontally straight around just under bust at ribs.
Width of Chest
Measure from leotard strap to strap across the dancers chest. Be sure to place the tape at the exact point you desire the width of the bodice peeks of the tutu. Note many dance teachers prefer the chest to be open with a wider set tutu.
Upper Arm Diameter - Optional
Measure the diameter of the upper arm at the point you wish the arm bands to sit.
Waist
Measure horizontally straight around waist at narrowest point.
Upper Hip
Measure horizontally straight around the hips at the bone level.
Lower Hip
Measure horizontally straight around hips at widest bottom point.
Girth
Start at either shoulder, run tape down front under the crouch loop back up the rear to the start point. This measures the dancers bodice height.
Height
Measure your standing height to enable us to determine your ideal tutu skirt depth.
Height guide for Available tutus
155 cm = under 13 inch tutu skirt
155-165 cm = 13 -14.5 inch tutu skirt
165 cm + = 15 -16.5 inch tutu skirt
